Bourke Street Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Fresh grassy aromas, lime zest and lemongrass yield to a crisp, dry palate with moreish texture and length.

'Bourke Street Wines is the collaboration between Nick O'Leary of his eponymous label and Alex McKay from Collector wines. A formidable New South Wales winemaking alliance. These are value packed wines across the range, with very healthy personality and made with freshness, youthful drinking and good times in mind.

Citrus blossom, lemony with a hint of dried green herbs and grass.

This is very lean sauvignon blanc, deliciously dry and sprinkled with a hit of peppery spice for interest. It's long, refreshing and racy with a fine mineral kick in the finish. Simple tropical fruit juiciness comes to play. Nothing cerebral, but it doesn't have to be - a good thirst slaker is sometimes the order of the day.  89 Points.  Drink : 2011 - 2013.'
